What A Publisher Needs to Know to Give You a Ball Park Quote:
 
1, What size will your book be?   5 ½ x 8 ½     6 x 9      7 x 10      8 ½ x 11?
2. How many pages?  The number has to be divisible by 8.
3. Will there be color inside?
4, Will the cover be 4-color process?  Or black and white? 
5. Do you want a hard cover?     Perfect-bound?    Dust jacket?
6. How many photos?
7. How many graphics?  (drawing, maps)
8. Manuscript form?  CD, hard copy?
9. Do you want us to edit your book?
10. How many books do you want printed? 500, 1000, 1500, 2000, etc
 
 
Cost will vary from time to time depending on cost of paper, cost of ink, and cost of fuel for shipping books.
 
 
If you want to meet with Git A Rope and discuss your book, there is $150 fee for one hour. If you decide to publish with Git A Rope, we will apply your money to the total cost.  After we have all of your information, we can give you an exact quote that will be good for 30 days.
